Instructions of use
|
If U-irons are used, place the start boards on the ground and arrange and nail spacers as shown in the picture. Start boards are obtained by cutting 1 panel in strips of 12.5 cm. If stirrups with hook or spiral stirrups are used, start boards are not necessary and spacers are placed on the ground. The spacer distance intervals are calculated according to the total height of the concrete casting. (See table at the bottom of the page). |

Assemble the first row of panels and the second row of spacers by fixing them with a nail in the corresponding hole. If needed (size compensation), the compensating sheets (flat or angle) are assembled. Spacers are introduced in the corresponding slots on the compensating sheets. |

A row of panels and then a row of spacers are subsequently assembled up to the desired height. In the last row, stirrups and spacers are locked with wedges. |

Spacer distance table
|
Each
concrete casting has specific characteristics that should properly
assessed by users. Work with maximum care and follow some essential
safety standards: - In the same concrete casting, use stirrups and spacers produced by the same manufacturer. - The first spacer should be placed not further than 5 cm from the end of each panel. - Place the other spacers between the two spacers placed at the panel ends, respecting the maximum distances indicated in the following table. - Before the concrete casting, check carefully check wedges and clamps are correctly fastened. - Do not unload the concrete suddenly. The concrete casting should be slow, mainly at the formwork base. - The maximum vertical filling speed allowed is 2.5 metres/hour. |
